Sagrantino Excursions are intended to acquaint passionate wine connoisseurs to an indigenous grape called Sagrantino. Our italian wine tours are informal, yet informative, led by sommeliers, wine makers and sincere people, who are enthusiastic about tasting Italian wine. |
When tasting a prestigious Italian wine like Sagrantino it is best to taste only Sagrantino. A tasting is customarily started with Montefalco Rosso, and possibly a Montefalco Rosso Reserve (Riserva), followed by the current release Sagrantino, and possibly an older Sagrantino. A tasting is usually concluded with the Sagrantino Passito.
We suggest that you refrain from smoking, chewing gum, and drinking coffee at least an hour before, and during wine tasting.
